I chose this color combo because I am also participating in this week's Art Nudge on FB.
I started with a light green watercolor wash and added color following Dina's tutorial as closely as I could.
For the die cut I used Lydia's Faux Heat Embossing technique! This is such fun! I know you can't see the shine on the word but it's there. The packing tape also adds extra sturdiness to the word die without having to build up layers. I always end up with glue everywhere when I add more layers to word die cuts.

I love this card, Angie. The colors are so beautiful. Great stamp to use. Sentiment looks great, too. Thanks for a fun challenge.

This is fantastic, Angie! What a beauty. I love this fun technique and everyone's beautiful cards in the gallery today. I also love that faux heat embossing technique. I do it all the time. And I like to use packing tape on fun foam to make my die cuts stand out even more.

Love this - you have about the same shades of blue on your card as I used on mine but in this instance size DOES matter as it's much easier to see the variations on this large bg image. When it comes to negative painting - this is a positive!
